Doctors Appointment

This morning, I had a doctor's appointment. As I walk into the office...I let them know that I have an appointment, give them my insurance card, and am asked to have a seat.

I am now waiting behind three other people, who seem to get very impatient and begin asking why they have had to wait so long to see the doctor.

My mind begins to wonder....and as I sit there, I start thinking about God.

God Is The Ultimate Healer. The Greatest Doctor.

How many times have I gone to God, and needed him to make me better??? I show up, ask to see Him, and then waited....waited for an answer to prayer, or for some help!!!! But then I get tired of waiting, and so I turn and walk out the door...thinking I can make it better on my own.

I tend to ALWAYS make things worse, and then end up in some desperate situation...and have to run to the emergency room, were God is waiting.

"Ivy, if you have just waited in the office, you would not have to come here."

We're all human, we get impatient and angry that God is not on our time schedule. We don't like that He seems to take forever in coming to our aid...

BUT in Truth. Instead of waiting for God to answer us or be there for us. WE NEED TO BE THERE FOR GOD, Ready and waiting, for whenever He needs us.

I don't know about you, BUT I want God to use me, in other's lives, and I want to be a tool of God.
And I can't do that, when I don't take the time to be with God and to seek Him always!!!

I learned a lot today, sitting in that doctor's office.....I need to go to God to heal me, Because HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN!!! and Stop doing it on my own!!!! By doing it on my own I am only making myself more sick....
